Request a role
Log in to the EU login.
As your profile is new, you will not have any role assigned to your profile.
The first step is to request a new role as “Authority”. The authority users in charge of the management of the Establishment amendments’ lists are the “List management system (LMS) National contact point (NCP)” users (LMS NCP) who have to be linked to the profile of their respective authority.
To be linked to this authority profile, you would need to follow the steps below.
On the homepage, click on “Authority”:
You will be able to search for the competent LMS NCP Authority of your country.
You can facilitate the search by selecting some information such as: the Country, the Role, the Competence and the Authority name.
Tip
We advise you to select the country as well as the role of “LMS NCP”.
By clicking the blue box “Search”, you will find all the results related to your search.
Once you found your Competent LMS NCP Authority, then tick the “Select” box and click on “Request authorization”.
Important
For the Country, select your country (only mandatory field).
For the Role, select the option “National Contact Point – NCP”.
For the Competence, select the appropriate option related to your profile activities.
For the Authority Name, type the Authority Name to which you need to be linked.
After requesting a new role, the relevant Authority will receive a notification to validate your request.
Note
The first user to be connected to the LMS NCP role will have to contact the TRACES Helpdesk in order to be validated.
We will give him administrator rights to allow him to manage the incoming requests from colleagues who would like to have the same role LMS NCP.
When your LMS NCP role is valid, you can see it on the top right of the screen, by clicking on your email address:

You will need to do a complete logout and login to be able to see the changes in your profile.
