The Impact Continuation questionnaire (formerly part of the Impact questionnaire tab) is now available to be filled in by the Consortium in the context of the Continuous and Periodic Report. Both questionnaires can be used for all Horizon Europe types of action (exception is made for the following types of action - ERC non PoC) and they will be included in the Technical Part (Part A) of the relevant Periodic Report (PDF).
New columns will be added to the Researcher Involved in the Project questionnaire, namely information related to the Researcher profile:
- - "Latest degree before entering the project"
  - "Last professional position (if any) before entering the project"
  - For staff members leaving the project:

Only for the new MFF 2021-2027 : if the costs declared under "purchase costs" are higher than 15% of claimed personnel costs for the partner in the Financial statement of each reporting period, major costs items need to be recorded in the 'use of resource' pop-up. The only costs to take into account for the major costs items for the limit of 15% of claimed personnel costs are the cost items (from the 'costs' table) and not the 'In-kind contributions provided by third parties' costs.

Amendments - EU Initiated

For EU initiated Amendments (AMDE), there can be errors in the process or amendment details even after it has been sent from the EU to the Consortium for them to countersign. To prevent this case, PPGMS will block the Coordinator/PL Sign from submitting for signature if there are errors and those errors will be shown in the screen for the user to see. Project Monitoring

A new intermediate 'Revalidate' button, allowing the users to refresh the validation task after editing the Form data in SyGMa, has been added. This change applies to all tasks including a Form in SyGMa. Information made available to the Consortium and Experts about PMON can be viewed here.

Grant Agreement Termination by the EU

The Grant Agreement (GA) termination initiated by the EU process has been updated and made available. The following main updates have been implemented:
- when the 'GA Termination - EU Services Initiated' workflow reaches the part where a Contradictory Procedure is possible a Formal Notification is sent out to the Beneficiary, concerning the Pre-information Letter and they are given a specified period of time during which to provide their Observations/Contradictions to the Decision taken by the EU.
- upon the receipt of the Formal Notification, the Beneficiary consults the Pre-information Letter produced by the EU and a task will be available for the Coordinator in the Funding & Tender Portal, allowing him/her to either upload Observations to the EU Decision or to close without Observations. After making their decision, the Coordinator must Submit the task. In certain cases after the Observations have already been made by the Beneficiary, the EU may permit another possibility for the Beneficiary to provide Observations on the revised decision of the EU.
- in the Grant Management Services (GMS) application documents belonging to the Grant Agreement (GA) termination initiated by the EU process will no longer contain the index number in the title (this is the final number accompanied by a dash (e.g. -1 -2 etc). Instead, when viewing the documents in the GMS Documents Library, the users will be able to see the date when the documents have been provided, and thus they will be able to correctly identify which Observations were made first (in the case when several Observations have been made throughout the lifetime of the GA termination initiated by EU process).

For the Use of Resources, the value for the person months cannot be 0 or null for a the person-Months per Work package.
For the Horizon Europe programme: the 'Export Use of Resources to PDF' link is now available on the Financial Statement screen (accessing it generates a pdf document detailing the use of resources of a particular partner) and the Financial Statements screen of Periodic Report (a similar document detailing the use of resources of all partners of the project for the period is generated).

Continuous reporting

The Standards questionnaire is no longer part of the Exploitation Activities questionnaire, but it is a stand-alone questionnaire available for all Horizon Europe types of action. The questionnaire is not mandatory, but if any data is initially included in the Continuous Report, it will be then displayed in the related Periodic Report.
The Technical Progress Report (CEF) is a specific report conceived for the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Program. It is displayed as a tab both in the Continuous and Periodic Report. The tab technical progress includes two tables or sections:
- one showing the overall Project progress;
- one showing the action's progress per work package. The Consortium fills in both tables by indicating the percentage of cumulative technical progress achieved during the course of the action

Grant Agreement Preparation

For all Horizon Europe (HORIZON) ERC types of action:
- "Time commitment for the action (%)" needs to respect (be higher than) the "HE PI time commitment" in the topic configuration
- "Time commitment in Member State / Associated Country (%)" for a principal investigator is predefined to 50% and cannot be changed.

For the programmes using volunteers in their grants, the maximum volunteer costs introduced in Sygma are being checked by the system.
The Documents section includes now the Annex 1 - Description of the action (Part C - Key Performance Indicators). By clicking on the link in SyGMa, the users will be redirected to the form in the Funding and Tenders Portal where they can edit it. Once changes saved, the PDF document will be generated and accessible from the Documents screen in SyGMa. For more information, please click here.

The Datasets questionnaire is a new questionnaire available for all Horizon Europe types of actions where the Open Science requirements apply. It is made available for both Continuous and Periodic Reporting.

A banner will be displayed each time there is a communication about issues or interruptions impacting the well-functioning of the Audit Management Services (AMS).

Project Monitoring - Innovation Radar

The "Submission" button for the rapporteur will display validation checks (like for the Amendments). If the consolidated session is not yet opened in SyGMa, the "Submission" button will be disabled and the rapporteur will get a validation error.
