The consortium can upload now their observations on documents received by formal notification EU services initiated not supported by the audit dedicated processes (e.g.  In-house audits, outsourced audits or extension of audit findings processes). Outsourced audit process

• The Audit Management System has been enhanced to incorporate the exchange between the external audit firm and the audited firm when preparing the Draft Audit Report in Outsourced Audits. There are new tasks for both parties

Audit Result Implementation

• If the EU requests additional information, a Participant Notification (PNS) will be sent to inform the audited organisation that a new Audit Implementation (Pre-)information letter is sent as reply to any additional issues related to the previous Audit Implementation (Pre-)information letter. To know more about the Audit result implementation process, click here. In-house audit process

• The main Beneficiary of the third parties being audited will be also notified via a Formal Notification (DAR Contradictory Info Letter Third Party) of the sending of the DAR for observations.

Outsourced audit process

• Audit firms will receive a new PNS message when they need to review their comments on the DAR.

Audit processes 

• It is now possible to also download document/attachments in the original Excel format  (not only the Ares-stamped .pdfs). Audit result implementation

• The audit contact of the audited beneficiary can now upload observations in the Audit Management Services of the Funding&Tenders Portal as part of the contradictory procedure for the audit result implementation as recovery order. For more information about this process, please click here.

Extension of audit findings 

• The upload clock in the Audit Management System of the Funding & Tenders Portal for AUEX is now suspended when a request for additional information is made by the beneficiary. It resumes if the additional info is supplied and a new upload is asked from the beneficiary by the auditor. 
  

Formal Notification 

• A Participant Notification System (PNS) will now be sent to the external sender to notify them that the EU Auditor has acknowledged the Formal Notification. For more information, please click here. 
  

General features 

• The "Participant Portal Audit Management Services" (PPAMS) has been renamed "Audit Management Services" (AMS).

• The Audi Contact (AUCO) of the audited organisation can now submit comments on the Draft Audit Report (DAR). For more information, please click here. 
• If the In-house audit (AUPI) flow is cancelled, the LEAR and the AUCO will be notified via a PNS and a Formal Notification containing the Audit Cancellation Letter. For more information, please click here. 

Outsourced audit process

• If the Outsourced audit (AUPO) flow is cancelled, the LEAR and the AUCO of the audited organisation and the External Audit Firm (EAF) will be notified via a PNS and a Formal Notification containing the Audit Cancellation Letter. For more information, please click here.    
• The EAF can now upload other supporting documents to be submitted to the EU with the reports. For more information, please click here. 
• The EAF can now upload the Draft Audit Report (DAR). For more information, please click here.

Formal notification process
