The FLAG is situated in the southwestern region of Lithuania and is characterised by vast forests, waterways and scenic landscapes. The area has a strong cultural heritage linked with fish farming, where common products are carp, white amur and sturgeon. Due to the nature of the FLAG area’s natural landscape, it is well positioned for developing tourism.

The Klaipėda City FLAG is conveniently located near both the Baltic Sea and the Curonian Lagoon and includes part of the Curonian Spit National Park, the Swamp Back Island in the Curonian Lagoon and the Smiltynė Straight which connects the lagoon to the Black Sea.

The Saint-Brieuc LEADER LAG and FLAG want to foster economic and tourism development in their area by making local products a lever to create tools for tourism, attract new visitors, improve the area's profile and enable local actors to work together. Through this cooperation project, the Saint-Brieuc LEADER LAG and FLAG aim to build, share and find development opportunities with its future partners; doing better together by drawing on shared experiences and good practices.

Un planteamiento y una inversión ciertamente creativos han llevado a la construcción de la primera planta de reciclaje de Dinamarca dedicada a transformar el poliestireno expandido en pellets de plástico, que luego se pueden vender a fabricantes para la producción de una amplia gama de nuevos productos. Se trata de un gran paso adelante en la gestión y procesamiento de las cajas de pescado usadas.

El GALP de Málaga ha promovido una iniciativa para crear una marca en torno a una almeja local especifica (Callista chione o «concha fina»), con el fin de añadir valor a dicha especie y establecer unas normas o estándares comunes de alta calidad.

Movidos por el deseo de reducir el impacto de la acuicultura en el medio ambiente, un grupo de actores locales, con el apoyo inicial del GAL LEADER, ha logrado convertir la producción simbiótica de peces y tomates en un próspero negocio.

Gracias al apoyo del GALP, se ha podido crear una nueva empresa dedicada al cultivo terrestre de microalgas para la extracción de aceite, que se utilizará como nutriente en productos de tipo farmacéutico para el consumo humano.

The Vela Vrata brings together islands of Cres and Lošinj, and their respective towns and municipalities, and the city of Opatija, municipalities of Lovran and Mošćenička Draga on the coast.

The Tunera FLAG is situated in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and consists of coastal and mountain areas where there is a longstanding fishing tradition. There are 46 active fishing vessels in total, most of them under 12m in length.

The Djursland FLAG is looking to learn from other FLAG areas in order to develop projects to improve the sales price of local seafood, ideally in contexts similar with its fisheries communities (small-scale, Baltic/North Sea coastal fisheries).
