This topic deals with general and cross-cutting development issues such as the Agenda for Change, the Sustainable Development Goals and the Post-2015 global framework, or research for development. Developing countries bear the primary responsibility for their own development, but the EU accepts its share of responsibility and accountability for the joint efforts undertaken in partnership.

    This course aims to familiarise the learners with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and their implementation in the EU policy framework, as well as to support them in understanding what Policy Coherence for Development (PCD) is, as well as the broader PCSD, as part of the means of implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
