Right to React for EIC Pathfinder Open 2021

• A new process is available for the EIC Pathfinder Open 2021 call.

This new process, called Right to React, and also referred to as Rebuttal, consists of inviting the coordinator of the proposal to provide additional information, which will be taken into consideration within the evaluation of the proposal.

This invitation takes place during the Consensus Group phase of the evaluation process. Upon the receipt of the report/letter inviting to provide the additional information, the coordinator can upload their response in the Grant Management System (GMS) within an amount of days specific to the Call (usually 5 or 7 calendar days). The response has a limited extension and providing it is optional. The task will autocomplete in GMS, once the limit date is reached.

New Participant register

• The Participant register has been redesigned with a new look and feel, and it displays now within the Funding & Tenders Portal instead of opening in a new tab.

The organisation registration process still has 6 steps, which have been slightly updated:

The organisation data view and update screens now display the information in tabs:

The new field Gender Equality Plan (GEP) has been added to the Legal information step when registering, and can be later modified in the legal information tab within the data updates screen:

• The My Task(s) tab in the Manage my area menu will now be also used in the Participant register:

In this tab, the users will have an overview of the tasks that require their action. By clicking on a task title, the users will be redirected to the corresponding tab of the organisation data and update screens, where they will be able to perform the required action.

• Participant Reigister is available in different languages.

Participant register page of the Funding and Tenders Portal, as well as the organisation registration process and the organisation data view and update screens will include the translations to the official languages. Periodic Reporting

• For SME-2B: the Prefinancing letters for the 'Periodic Prefinancings' (i.e. additional prefinancing payments) for the SME-2B projects are now automatically generated. Also, in case the statement on the use of the previous prefinancing payment is sent back to the Consortium, the Suspension Payment Deadline letter will also be generated, with the related explanation info added by the Financial Officer in Sygma (in the Reporting Assessment). 

Scientific Reporting

• The content of the ERC Scientific Report has been revised (several sections have been re-written and others, no longer needed, have been removed, a few titles have been also changed).
