Complementary funding

The area is situated in the north-eastern part of Pomerania, in the Kaszuby Lake district. There are over 100 lakes and several rivers, the total surface of waters is over 6,000 hectares (nearly 5% of the FLAG area). Most of the lakes are owned by the state, others are rented by small family businesses which carry out extensive fish production.

Godinama su lokalni ribari trpjeli posljedice financijske krize. Bankarski sustav regije ograničen je na nekoliko operatera sa strogim uvjetima za dodjeljivanje kredita. Ribari ne mogu uvijek pružiti uobičajeno jamstvo, što im otežava dobivanje kredita. Zbog toga što se ne uklapaju uvijek u standardni profil dužnika, ribare se može svrstati u kategoriju „neprofitabilnih”. Nedavne rasprave s tim lokalnim ribarima pokazale su potrebu da im se osigura pristupačniji sustav kreditiranja koji bi im pomogao u financiranju njihovih inicijativa.

The first FARNET transnational seminar of the new programming period took place in Edinburgh, Scotland, from the 8th to 10th December 2015. It provided new opportunities for Managing Authorities of the European Structural and Investment (ESI) Funds to learn, inspire and get inspired in implementing the CLLD approach.
