Plenary meetings of the Heads of Food Safety Agencies are biannual and usually held in the Presidency country.
The meetings aim at encouraging mutual cooperation and exchanging experiences and views on good management practices to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of the implementation of EU law by Food and Feed Business Operators (FFBO’s).
Several Working Goups are instigated for the development and approval of “tools” and “best practices” which benefits the harmonization between the agencies.
