The FLAG area has remained unchanged compared to Axis 4, and includes four municipalities (Chioggia, Rosolina, Porto Viro and Porto Tolle) in the provinces of Venice and Rovigo. It has a coastline of about 70 km, with the presence of 380 vessels, of which 212 are in Chioggia, ranging between 4 and 30 meters.
The challenges that this FLAG seeks to address relate to the exploitation of local fish production, the establishment of a maritime management tool, and the protection of the environment.
There are three Sites of Community Importance (SCI, Tegnue di Chioggia, Dune residue del Bacucco, Delta del Po) and one Special Protected Area (SPA, Delta del Po)
The FLAG strategy continues to support fisheries competitiveness, to protect the environment and to build capacity at the local level. FLAG actions include:

During the 2007-2013 programming period, the FLAG developed a cooperation project together with other Adriatic FLAGs (GAC Veneziano, GAC Distretto Mare Adriatico, GAC marinerie di Romagna and GAC Friuli Venezia Giulia) dealing with discards at sea and accompanying actions in the Upper Adriatic Region (Rigetti in mare e azioni di accompagnamento nell’area del Distretto Alto Adriatico).
The FLAG intends to develop future interterritorial, Adriatic and transnational cooperation projects on the following topics:
The FLAG expressed interest in the constitution of a Network of Ionian and Adriatic FLAGs in Italy, Croatia, and Slovenia.
Members include municipalities, a credit institution, fisheries (including aquaculture and processing) cooperatives and associations and environmental associations.
