Italian FLAG promotes cross-border cooperation on innovation

A cooperation project led by Friuli Venezia Giulia FLAG aims to develop innovative solutions and technologies useful for the fisheries, aquaculture and agriculture sectors. Part of the Interreg Italy-Slovenia Programme, the Fish-Agro Tech CBC Project will support the development of a cross-border innovation plan for Italy and Slovenia, encouraging the creation of networks between enterprises, research and innovation actors. The project will run until December 2019.

A meeting on 30 May, 2019 will focus on extending the shelf-length of processed fisheries and aquaculture products.

The project will identify and map out Research to Business (R2B) and Business to Business (B2B) projects involved in developing innovative solutions. This information will be shared with businesses, associations, scientific and research institutions, LAGs and FLAGs.
