The European Week of Regions and Cities (#EURegionsWeek) is the biggest annual Brussels-based event dedicated to cohesion policy. It comprises workshops, labs and debates in which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance.

This month, the key topics: 1°) EU Biodiversity Strategy 2030: protecting nature and reversing the degradation of ecosystems; 2°) European Ocean Coalition (EU4Ocean) Launched at Ocean Literacy Summit; 3°) The Hague LAG - Sharing good synergies between urban CLLD and FLAGs; 4°) FARNET Meeting for Managing Authorities and National Networks implementing fisheries CLLD; 5°) Changes in the FSU team.

The 2020 Atlantic Project Awards is now open and looking for outstanding success stories, achieved by projects in the geographical areas covered by the Atlantic Strategy (France, Ireland, Portugal and Spain) and those related to the implementation of the Atlantic Action Plan.

The Fisch vom Kutter web portal for the distance sale of freshly landed catches from the German Baltic Coat vessels is a success story that started in 2009. FARNET published a Good Practice example during the project’s first programming period.
