We are aware of a scam letter from a sender impersonating the European Commission and the European e-Justice Portal, asking for payment to confirm company details on the Business Registers Interconnection System (BRIS).
Such a letter is a scam: do not send any money to the bank account shown.
The company information provided on the European e-Justice Portal through BRIS is gathered in real time from the business registers of the Member States, without any fees for companies.
If you receive a suspicious letter coming from BRIS, the European e-Justice Portal or the Commission, please contact us immediately on just-bris-helpdesk@ec.europa.eu. Never pay any money to the sender.
