The industry guidelines are intended for wine producers in Sweden. Their purpose is to help producers meet the requirements set out in food legislation and the regulations for wine production within the EU. If you are a new wine producer, the guidelines will give you an overview of what is expected of you as a food producer. If you are an established wine producer, you can use them as a complement to your own self-monitoring and risk assessment program. The guidelines are also intended to assist the authorities that carry out inspections, helping to ensure a shared understanding of the industry and a nationally consistent assessment of wineries.
