Consumer Protection Act

Art. 41 Sect. 2 Actvities harming collective interests are any activities which harm the collective interests of an indefinite number of consumers and are in contradiction with the given Act, Law of Obligations Act or other legal acts, above all using of or the intention to use unfair commercial practises.

Art. 41 Sect. 1 In order to end any activities harming the consumers' collective right and to refrain from such activities the Director General of the Consumer Protection Board or its authorised official may issue an administrative request or the Consumer Protection Board may initiate legal action in the name of the Republic of Estonia in court.
