16/02/2021

Lietuvos valstybės atkūrimo diena

On 16 February, Lithuania celebrates State Restoration Day. Also known as Independence Day, this Lithuanian national holiday marks the country’s independence achieved in 1918.

Traditionally, this festive day is celebrated with parades and free concerts in the cathedral square of the capital Vilnius, while the whole country is festooned in yellow, green and red, the national colours.
