Traffic accident victims, with spinal injury, share their stories in non-formal preventive workshops "I still drive - but I cannot walk" with young people in order to influence their perception on road safety. Young people learn about road safety and the importance of following road safety rules from a different angle – the personal experiences of a person injured heavily in a road accident.


Use of mobile phone when driving is increasing in Slovenia. Research made by Slovenian Traffic Safety Agency in 2015 has shown that 75% of surveyed drivers uses telephone and sends SMS messages while driving. We wanted to raise awareness about dangers of texting and driving focused primary on youth and secondary on general public and inform them about the consequences of severe traffic injuries caused by usage of mobile phones.

Concursul de educatie rutierea ,, Memorialul Matei Virgil,, Suncuius, Bihor are ca scop asimilarea cunostiintelor de educatie rutiera si formarea unui comportament responsabil in trafic pentru prevenirea accidentelor de circulatie, perfectionarea unor deprinderi de comportare civilizata pe strada , adoptarea unei conduite preventive pentru diminiuare numarului de accidente rutiere in care sunt impilicati elevii si adultii.

Motorcycle activists club Slovenia - Max operates since 2003 for the development and the application of equal treatment to all motorized traffic users. They aim to protect their members and all road users.

 

Slovenian Traffic Safety Agency

Slovenian traffic safety agency (AVP) is a legal body of public law in the field of road safety, established on 1st September 2010. Agency performs regulatory, developmental, technical, and other tasks regarding drivers and vehicles, analytical and research work in the field of road safety, prevention, education, and training. Agency also performs independent investigation of the factors and causes of traffic fatalities and provides expert work for preparation and implementation of national program of traffic safety.

Institute DRIVING


Institute DRIVING is an association which consists of members who were severely injured in road traffic accidents and road safety professionals. They are actively involved in national programmes for prevention in the field of road safety. Their work is mainly focused on beginner and future drivers. Institute performs on big variety of tasks which include: education of risk groups on road safety that are built on personal experience: peer-to-peer education; preparation of educational methods for other target groups; organisation of various events and etc.
