Public Procurements of Construction lack Control by Commissioning Authorities

The Competition Council (CC) of Latvia has concluded a sector inquiry to analyse co-operation forms of construction merchants within public procurements. The competition authority concludes that information included in tenders is rather formal, while control over performers of construction work by commissioning authorities – insufficient.

The Autorité de la concurrence publishes the results of its sector inquiry into standardisation and certification

The Autorité de la concurrence launched in 2014 a sector inquiry into the standardisation and certification processes in France. After an extensive review of the sector and the conduct of a public consultation which attracted over a hundred responses from stakeholders, the Autorité published its findings on 17, November 2015.

The CC concludes Sector Inquiry into the Dairy Market in Latvia

The Competition Council (CC) of Latvia has concluded the sector inquiry into the dairy market, concluding that price changes at different market levels are disproportional. However, dynamics of prices do not indicate prohibited agreements within the dairy market.
