The Future of Food Conference is a high-level forum, providing a platform for all the stakeholders of the food system to discuss the most pressing challenges and solutions in the EU’s agrifood sector and co-create innovative solutions.

Non-fed aquaculture can produce protein with a very low carbon footprint. It can also absorb the nutrients that lead to eutrophicatuion in our seas. Can an expansion of aquaculture reduce eutrophication? Are there enough nutrients? What is impact on fishing? This project will find out.

In this webinar representatives of regions, clusters and NGOs as well as scientists and finance experts presented their outlook on challenges to tackle and opportunities to grab towards a sustainable blue economy.
