Alliances for Sectoral Cooperation on Skills (implementing the ‘Blueprint’) Alliances for Innovation aim to strengthen Europe’s innovation capacity by boosting innovation through cooperation and flow of knowledge among higher education, vocational education and training (both initial and continuous), and the broader socio-economic environment, including research. They also aim to boost the provision of new skills and address skills mismatches by designing and creating new curricula for higher education (HE) and vocational education and training (VET), supporting the development of a sense of initiative and entrepreneurial mind-sets in the EU. |

Individual learning accounts: public consultation launched We would like to inform you that the European Commission has launched a public consultation on Individual learning accounts. The consultation is open until 16 July. Feedback is invited on the problem definition, need for EU action and policy objectives, policy options and expected impacts. |

Do you have a project in mind to raise awareness of consumers on sustainable seafood or an innovative business plan to use marine resources sustainably? Or something completely different that you think has the potential to change things? We welcome applications from anyone involved or interested in the sustainable use of marine resources for economic growth, improved livelihoods, and jobs while preserving the health of marine ecosystems. |
