    This article includes presentations on the European Atlas of the Seas made by the EMODnet Secretariat at a wide range of general and thematic workshops. When the workshops were recorded, links are also provided to the video of the workshop.

    On 30 November 2022, the EMODnet Secretariat made a presentation on the European Atlas of the Seas at the 2022 CommOCEAN conference in Sète (France).

    On 18 November 2022, the EMODnet Secretariat made a presentation on the European Atlas of the Seas at the 4th Scientix International Conference.

    On 21 June 2022, the EMODnet Secretariat organised a virtual boat race in the European Atlas of the Seas' 2022 EMD in My Country map during a workshop organised by the Education for Climate Coalition in the framework of the challenge 'Be a scientist!     On 5 May 2022, the EMODnet Secretariat presented the European Atlas of the Seas at the Education for Climate Policy and Practice Forum organised by the Education for Climate Coalition. Watch the recording of the event.

    On 5 November 2021, the EMODnet Secretariat presented the European Atlas of the Seas during the session ‘Bringing the sea to the classrooms in the Black Sea countries’ at the ‘Let’s Make the Black Sea Blue!’ event organized by the EU4Ocean Coalition.

    On 9 October 2021, the EMODnet Secretariat made a presentation (in Dutch) on the European Atlas of the Seas and Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) at the congress organized by the Association of Flemish Geography Teachers in Antwerp (Belgium).

    On 27 September 2021, the EMODnet Secretariat presented the European Atlas of the Seas to teachers during the online workshop ‘Bringing Ocean and Climate to the classroomin the framework of the Mediterranean Sea basin event organized by the EU4Ocean Coalition.

    On 27 August 2021, the EMODnet Secretariat presented the European Atlas of the Seas at the online Baltic Sea Basin Event on Ocean Literacy organized by the EU4Ocean Coalition, during the morning session ‘Bringing the Sea to School in the Baltics’ and the afternoon ‘Teachers Training Workshop’.     On 16 June 2021, the EMODnet Secretariat organised an online workshop on the European Atlas of the Seas in the framework of the EMODnet Open Conference.     The European Atlas of the Seas took part in the EU4OCEAN Ocean Literacy Festival (May 2021).

    The European Atlas of the Seas participated in the workshop 'Ocean literacy through visualisation and storytelling: local, regional and international examples' organised by the Irish Ocean Literacy Network at the European Maritime Day 2021 conference (May 2021).

This workshop led by EMSEA, Ciência Viva and European Schoolnet aimed to support schools who wish to become European Blue Schools.  Three parallel tracks were organized on (a) Food from the Ocean (b) Climate and Ocean and (c) Healthy and Clean Ocean.
