The main plogging event (and the start of the plogging week in the Black Sea) will take place on the 31st of October (in Constanta) and will be organized by Creative+ in partnership with Mare Nostrum. With some race, prizes, and different actions to protect the environment and the Black Sea.

In May 2021, the European Commission published a Communication for a Sustainable Blue Economy. In this virtual info session, hosted by the EU Regions Week (via Zoom), relevant stakeholders will present and discuss the opportunities for a Green Recovery for the blue economy and the role of the regions as a path towards a sustainable blue economy in the EU.
