In this workshop, the problem of Marine Litter, its effects on the environment, and the level of knowledge and awareness of the public about marine litter will be discussed. The event will be involved awareness, discussions, and practical field study. The workshop will be attended by representatives of the partners, the provincial and district directorates of the ministry, representatives of the municipalities, representatives of the tourism sector, teachers, fishermen, imams, representatives from the stakeholder groups specified in the project will attend the meeting, and each sector will have a chance to both evaluate the project outputs and share the view of the group they represent on marine litter with the participants.
The project partners, which have come together to compare the studies of the countries bordering the Black Sea on marine litter and to produce joint solutions for the protection of our common sea, include six partners from four countries (Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, and Turkey). These; The Black Sea NGO Network (BSNN) and The Institute of Oceanology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IO-BAS) are Bulgarian partners, while Georgian partners are The International Center for Business and Economic Development (IBEDC), and Romanian partners are the Mare Nostrum NGO. (MN) and the National Institute for Marine Research and Development "Grigore Antipa" (NIMRD).
