Project description
The PFS/Zymmatic water treatment is a new technology based on the natural degradation of pollutants by enzymes. The base product is a sand-like material that can be used in any type of column or fill-bed application where you just let the water pass through the material to degrade the pollutants.
The simple application allows for both low-cost and small installations, which has been the biggest challenges for micro-pollutant removal to be widely accepted in the wastewater treatment market.
The natural process is also harmless and adds no workplace hazards, which is an important but less discussed challenge of alternative technologies.
The main point is though that this technology is up to half the price of the competitors for the same performance.
The problem we are solving
PFS offer a natural process for removing micro-pollutants to a lower cost, smaller installation and safer solution.
Sustainable impact on Blue Economy
The reduction of pharmaceuticals and other micro-pollutants will have a drastic effect on improving aquatic life and reduce societal effects such as antibiotic resistance development.
