At Aquammodate, we use naturally abundant components and knowledge from several years of research to mimic and reinforce the outstanding water filter design used by nature in order to harness the power of natural water purification. We aim to tackle the world's water scarcity problem with our technology that is highly efficient using only renewable materials, at the same time as we have a clear application towards industry such as ultrapure water, water treatment plants, etc. Our mission is to offer our water purification technology that has the potential to combine 85% lower energy consumption with high selectivity and high purity grade water purification to people and industry in need.
The problem we are solving
Our technology has the potential to lower the energy consumption of water purification processes up to 85% compared to the present state-of-the-art, maintaining a high selectivity for water and excellent purity, whilst only using renewable and naturally abundant components. We are hence planning on providing a sustainable solution with the potential to cut costs and increase efficiency, which can help improve the process of supplying safe drinking water, ultra-pure water, as well as the removal of particles and substances including pharmaceutical residues and microplastics, etc.
