In Flanders, maritime companies, scientific institutes and authorities are since 2018 intensively collaborating in a Blue Cluster. The Blue Cluster of Flanders is driven by blue innovation: it accompanies Member-consortia and streamlines projects related to innovative blue economy. The Blue Cluster is an initiative that establishes a new and unique cross-sectoral platform to stimulate deep and broad innovations across the blue growth spectrum.
