Fórum Oceano – Associação da Economia do Mar (Association of Maritime Economy) is a private non-profit corporate body, which aims to promote the Blue Economy. Fórum Oceano is responsible for fostering the Portuguese Maritime Cluster, formally recognized as a Competitiveness Cluster by the Portuguese Government. Currently, Fórum Oceano has more than one hundred members, covering all the sectors related to Blue Economy, such as Shipbuilding and Ship Repair, Ports, Shipping and Logistics, Fisheries, Aquaculture, Nautical Tourism, Marine safety and security, Blue bioeconomy, Marine energy, Ocean Literacy and Training and Skills.
