The past months have been busy for the Blue Bioeconomy Forum!
The Forum was officially launched at the European Commission conference dedicated to presenting its renewed Bioeconomy strategy, a collective ‘European way’ to achieving a truly ‘sustainable and circular bioeconomy’ on 22 October.
A month and a half later, we hosted our first stakeholder event. It was the occasion to hear about the latest development in the Blue Bioeconomy, and to gather inputs for the roadmapping process, through the organisation of our first working groups’ meeting. You can read the highlights of the day here.
We will soon disclose the full results of the working group sessions, in our Community area. There, you can already find our draft State of Play report, which will be further updated based on the working groups discussions.
To access the BBF Community area, you need to be a member of the BBF Community on the European Commission’s Maritime Forum. To request your membership, you must first login to the Maritime forum (see top right corner: EU Login). Then, Click here to join the community. Your request will then be validated by our team.
We are also working on our project pipeline, and if you think you know a promising blue bioeconomy initiative, check our eligibility criteria, and do not hesitate to contact us!
