Are Europe's marine data fit for purpose? - outcome of stress tests

Stress tests show that EMODnet and Copernicus have made significant improvements in access and usability of EU's marine data but that much remains to be done. Many data are still hidden, unavailable or mutually incompatible. Fisheries impact, river discharges and coastal erosion are particularly troublesome. Efforts are underway to tackle these parameters

Copernicus marine service in-situ requirements

Introduction This note presents a short summary of the analyses carried out by GISC relating to essential in-situ data and the observing systems.
