PROJECT DESCRIPTION
BACKGROUND
The acceleration of renovating existing buildings, especially in the worst performing segment of the building stock, offers a high potential for energy savings. Over only the past two years “Winst uit je Woning: Samen inkopen B.V.” (Wujw) has, in collaboration with over 84 Municipalities, generated large amounts of leads for over 350 Renovators and unburdened Renovators in every aspect of the customer journey. As a result of these activities, Wujw has handled and triggered over €120 million of investments in sustainable home renovation in the Netherlands. While current initiatives solely approach the customer journey of Home Owners, Wujw’s proposition is much wider and heavily directed towards building professionals and energy advisors. Wujw especially stands out from other initiatives through its strong focus on relieving building professionals from secondary tasks, generally making up about 10%-20% of total renovation costs. Wujw’s business cases drives entirely on avoided process costs and added efficiency benefits. In this project Wujw successfully brings together three groups of stakeholders: Renovators, Home Owners and Sustainable Parties (entities with a significant outreach). The objective is transform Wujw’s proposition, that facilitates pre- and post renovation job processes for Renovators and offer these services completely white-label. The objectives of this project plan are: (1) to transform operation to online & offline White-label Proposition for energy efficient renovations; (2) implement and execute home renovation campaigns with Sustainable Parties integrated in Wujw’s white-label services; (3) realize (and continuously improve) value propositions with regard to Renovators and Home Owners and lastly (4) develop replication & exploitation strategies. As a result of this highly replicable, sustainable approach; annual investments in sustainable energy renovation will increase threefold over the duration of this project.
