During the Grant Agreement Preparation, the grant data are entered and submitted to the EU. The coordinator completes the workplan tables (e.g. work package descriptions, deliverables and milestones) as part of the Description of the Action (DoA).

Relevant screens in the Grant Management Services 

In the Work Packages screen, the Consortium adds/edits work packages (including the Ethics ones).  

Adding and editing work packages and linking them with deliverables

In order to link work packages to deliverables, the following steps have to be taken:

  • Add an empty work package
  • Add/create deliverable
  • Link deliverable(s) to the existing work package

Adding a work package

  • Click the Add Work Package button to add a work package:

  • Complete the work package data:
    • Title
    • Lead beneficiary (select it from the drop-down list)
    • Start Month 
    • End Month 
    • Objectives
    • Description
    • Deliverables description

Saving a work package

  • Click the OK button. The work package is now visible in the work packages list:

Managing data concerning partners and effort 

Re-open the work package by clicking on it. The following screen is displayed, allowing you to:

  • Edit, if needed, the work package description in the Description tab:

  • Check and add the work package effort in the Effort tab:

3.a. Standard work packages

For the standard work packages, this screen allows you to manage the data concerning both the partners and their effort. Please note that efforts, partners and the list of deliverables will be printed out in the Description of the action.

  • To manage the partners (manage the list of partners associated to the work package):
    • Click the Manage partners button in the Effort tab
    • Use the search field to find the partner

    • Select/deselect the checkboxes next to partners. You are also able to select/deselect all partners by using the dedicated buttons.

    • When the list is correct, press OK.

    • To assign/edit the effort for each partner, edit the data in the dedicated field
    • To remove a partner from the table, click the Remove button.
Explanation of columns
Date of acceptanceThe date that the Open Access repository has accepted the publication
DOIDigital Object identifier: this is a unique unique string of characters allocated to a website, file, or other piece of digital information
Repository link

Link to to the Open Access repository or to any other repository where a copy of the published version or the author's accepted manuscript has been deposited, or to a page within that repository providing access to the deposited version (possible after the end of an embargo period, where applicable). This is not a link to the publication on the journal/publisher website, and itis NOT a link to a personal or institutional homepage where the publication may have been posted.
