This page describes the application process for prospective applicants to the European Solidarity Corps.

Applicants have to use the European Solidarity Corps Web Application Form specific to the action they are applying for. These forms are available online via https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/web-esc.

The main page of the European Solidarity Corps Web Application Forms displays all currently open calls for European Solidarity Corps Actions. To submit an application, applicants must follow the steps below.

Before applications can be filled, the applicant must have an EU login. The EU Login Authentication Service (previously ECAS) is a point for user authentication to a wide range of Commission information systems. It is the first step before registering as an organisation to access certain IT Tools such as the Organisation Registration system.

The organisation needs to register once in the Organisation Registration system. After the registration is completed, the organisation will receive an Organisation ID. This Organisation ID consists of 8 digits prefixed with an E.

The Organisation ID is a unique identifier and is necessary for applications. It enables the organisation to fill in the European Solidarity Corps application form in a simple manner: by entering the Organisation ID in the application form, all information provided by the organisation upon registration in the Organisation Registration system is automatically displayed in the form.

Registration in the Organisation Registration system is a one time action. Should your organisation already have an Organisation ID, you must use it for all applications.

If you plan to apply for Volunteering Teams in High Priority Areas (ESC14), you will have to use a PIC (Participant Identification Code) instead of the Organisation ID. The organisation must in such cases register in the SEDIA Funding & Tenders Portal, retrieve a PIC and use it in the relevant application form.

Applicants are required to submit their application online, using the correct electronic form and including all requested annexes.


The form must be completed in one of the official languages used in the Programme Countries.

Before starting your application, familiarise yourself with the basic functionalities of the Web Application Form. Certain criteria must be met for a successful submission.

  • Mandatory fields are in red.

  • Once all the fields are filled in correctly, sections will be marked with a green check. If a section is marked with a red warning sign, it means that either information is missing or that certain rules have not been respected.

  • After closing the form, you will be able to access it via the My Applications tab on the European Solidarity Corps Web Application Form homepage.

Once the application form is complete, Submit it.


You will be able to re-open and re-submit the form until the submission deadline has expired. You can re-open the form from the My Applications tab on the homepage.

All applications received undergo an evaluation procedure by the relevant National Authority (NA).

At the end of the evaluation procedure, the NA decides on the projects to be granted and will contact the organisation/contact person in regards to the outcome of the selection process.
