Stata is a general-purpose statistical software package created in 1985 by StataCorp.[1]

Stata/IC 15 (standard Stata), Stata/SE 15 (special edition) & Stata/MP 15 (multiprocessor) are available as virtualized applications.

Stata/MP 15 is the fastest version of Stata and can handle more variables and observations [2], but DG ECFIN has only a few licenses of this one.
