World Day Against Child Labor [1] is observed the 12 June since 2002 by initiative of ILO for the purpose of raising awareness and activism to prevent child labour in both economic and military fields.

The creation of this international awareness day was spurred by the ratifications of ILO Convention 138[2] on the minimum age for employment and ILO Convention 182[3] on forms of child labour.
