possible to import the mediawiki platform and structure onto another server than DIGIT's

Is it possible to import the mediawiki platform and structure onto another server than DIGIT's ?

Could you provide guidance on the set up of the platform? Many thanks,

you can host mwiki on any server (mwiki is based on MySQL in PHP - so if your severe supports these, you can install it)
it might be interesting to follow the EC Yammer logic - to use one and single environment for all instead of creating 1000 instances contributing to enforce the silos.
mwiki is the FPfIS service and it is to be taken as it is - but can be customized if there is a general agreement among users.
for details howTo use it and how to take the most - let's have a coffee cup over this ...

Self-fulfilling prophecy

Don't you think that putting "The most read articles" on homepage is a self-fulfilling prophecy? --Gerdami 17:57, 21 March 2013 (UTC)

You are right. Come with better idea for the HP content - tried with "Featured Articles" and "Observances Days" + "latests content" ... unfortunately it has to be in a specific category (so the most popular chosen). If you find the way to get just latest content from any category or random article it would be even better. Well just any idea is good. And yes, now with more content it is simpler to get some more idea for HP --Snajdal 10:02, 17 April 2013 (UTC)

Home Page layout

Well done. Nice looking colors. Now, do it without tables but with divs and one template with one parameter as heading text, another as image.png if any, another with the body text. --Gerdami 09:38, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
not found how to make it idiotenproof for mobiles ... - guess a new template is needed ... so far only table works - if you have solution, go ahead --Snajdal 09:58, 17 April 2013 (UTC)

European Observance

Seems a little bit outdated  ;-) --Gerdami (talk) 13:49, 15 February 2014 (CET)
