HP may stand for

  • Hewlett-Packard, an American multinational information technology corporation headquartered in Palo Alto, California, United States.[1]
  • Hodrick-Prescott filter, a mathematical tool used in macroeconomics, especially in real business cycle theory, to remove the cyclical component of a time series from raw data.[2]
Not to be confused with HPI.
