ENISA stands for European Network and Information Security Agency, now European Union Agency for Network and Information Security.

ENISA was created in 2005.

Its mission is to achieve a high and effective level of Network and Information Security within the European Union.

ENISA works with the institutions and the Member States to address, respond and especially to prevent Network and Information Security problems.
