The Europa Analytics (EA) interface allows to present information in the graphical form. It also allows to change the type of already existing chart; the good chart-type can significantly improve the legibility of the information.


How to proceed

  1. right click the chart (graphic) you want to modify
  2. select "Properties" (bottom item of the contextual menu which you call by the right click)
  3. select "Graph type" from the drop down list (top of the menu Graph Properties)
  4. click "OK" to confirm the changes (at the bottom to the menu

Wait until the system re-count and re-load changed chart (graphic).

Example

In the Yearly Dashboard, the bar chart might be more appropriated then line one to display evolution of the monthly visits.

The contextual menu shall be displayed offering various modification of the chart.

Continue by clicking "Properties" (at the bottom of the menu) to change the chart-type, labels, size and other properties of the graphical presentation of the selected data.

Continue by clicking "Properties" (at the bottom of the menu) to change the chart-type, labels, size and other properties of the graphical presentation of the selected data.

The screen with all options to be modified shall be displayed.

Use the drop-down list at the top of the screen to change the "Graph Type" from "Line" to "Bar".

Then click "OK" at the bottom of the screen to confirm the new parameters.

When changing any parameter of any element of the report (in this case a chart or graph), the system re-counts, re-formats and re-loads this element; this may last few moments.

(Hint: you may save the report with the changes, so that you can re-use the same graphic). 

Bar-line chart type - display dates chronologically

To display the dates chronologically (instead of alphabetically as it appears in the first place), right-click on the axis label "Date", a contextual menu appears - select "sort ascending"
