In this book you will find in depth overview of Data Structure Definition supported by some figures of sample statistical tables and DSD structures. The Census Hub project is mentioned there as an example of cross-sectional structure.

At the end of this part you will see how to create step-by-step a DSD for a tourism example using the Data Structure Wizard, a tool developed by Eurostat. Starting from a creation of code list and concept scheme elements through a setting of various DSD elements, and finally exporting the created DSD into a SDMX-ML structure file, student is familiarised with an administration of the wizard.
