Food security Thematic programme

The Food Security Thematic Programme (FSTP) aims to improve food security in favour of the poorest and the most vulnerable under a medium and longer term perspective and to lead to sustainable solutions. Based on Article 15 of the EU Regulation establishing the Development Co-operation Instrument (DCI), it addresses food security at global, continental and regional levels, complements the Geographical programmes and comes to the fore where geographical instruments cannot fully operate.
