Un’azienda locale costituita una ventina d’anni fa dalla comunità di Achill ha creato un acquario in un edificio in disuso di sua proprietà; allo scopo, l’azienda ha coinvolto volontari, pescatori in pensione e lavoratori connessi con la filiera della pesca. “The Achill Experience Aquarium and Visitors Centre” è diventato il primo spazio culturale in Irlanda basato sul patrimonio ittico, nonché una delle principali attrazioni della contea.

The purpose of the organisation is the development and implementation a transnational quality agreement (pact) joining tourism stakeholders under a common strategy.
