    Η ανάπτυξη μικρών επιχειρήσεων αλιείας και υδατοκαλλιέργειας στην περιοχή της ομάδας FLAG Δυτικής Λιθουανίας αποτελεί ζωτικό στοιχείο της οικονομικής ανάπτυξης περιοχών όπως η Klaipeda και η Priekulė. Το παρόν έργο, το οποίο υλοποιείται από μια μικρή τοπική εταιρεία, αποσκοπεί στη βελτίωση της επεξεργασίας των προϊόντων αλιείας και υδατοκαλλιέργειας της περιοχής μέσω μιας σειράς στρατηγικών επενδύσεων με χρηματοδότηση FLAG.

    The Chioggia and Po Delta FLAG has successfully convinced a high school to launch an official training programme in commercial fishing and fish production. The FLAG used their animation activities, together with fisheries stakeholders and the wider local community, to attract their first groups of students who will become the entrepreneurs of the future.

    Μέσω του έργου MedAves Pesca, η Oeste FLAG συνεργάστηκε με την πορτογαλική ΜΚΟ SPEA για καλύτερη επικοινωνία και αλληλεπίδραση με τον αλιευτικό τομέα. Το κοινό αυτό έργο επικεντρώθηκε στην προσαρμογή των αλιευτικών πρακτικών για την αποφυγή του θανάτου των θαλάσσιων πτηνών κατά την αλιεία στην περιοχή των νησιών Μπερλένγκας.

  • Seeking information about lampara nets and purse seines

    Bothnian Sea and Lake Pyhajarvi FLAG is looking for other European FLAGs interested in sharing experience in using other types of  gear, which can respond to the dual challenges that seals and diminishing ice cover represent.  Experiences in the use of lampara nets and/or purse seines in coastal, and more specifically, shallow waters, under 20 metres in depth (mostly 5-12 metres) are of particular interest.
