    The Raseiniai FLAG is situated in the western part of Lithuania, in the northwest of Kaunas county, 76km northwest of Kaunas city. The territory is carved by rivers, streams and valleys; the rivers Dubysa, Šešuvis, Šaltuona, Mituva flow through the FLAG area.

    The FLAG is situated in the southwestern region of Lithuania and is characterised by vast forests, waterways and scenic landscapes. The area has a strong cultural heritage linked with fish farming, where common products are carp, white amur and sturgeon. Due to the nature of the FLAG area’s natural landscape, it is well positioned for developing tourism.

    The FLAG area is situated in the north of Croatia near the border with Slovenia and close to Italy. The area’s key industries are tourism and other services, agriculture and fishing, focusing mainly on sardines and anchovy; there are also two aquaculture farms producing shellfish.
