Der Bio-Muschelzuchtbetrieb Kerteminde hat sich als erstes gewerbliches Unternehmen Dänemarks auf die Zucht von Muscheln im offenen Meer und deren Vermarktung spezialisiert. Die Betreiber wollen effizient und umweltfreundlich Qualitätsware erzeugen, die Meereswirtschaft in der Region stärken und Arbeitsplätze vor Ort schaffen.

The FLAG territory is located in western Bulgaria close to Sofia. The area’s landscape is mixed and includes mountainous highlands, several rivers, and many natural water resources which are in good ecological condition and one of the main assets of local fisheries.

--ARCHIVED as of 31 January 2020-- The FLAG areas commercial fishing fleet is made up of 34 vessels registered from either Swansea Marina, Porthcawl Harbour, Port Talbot or Oxwich Bay. Since 2010, this figure has declined by 27%, down from a total of 44 vessels. The most frequently landed species, accounting for 90% of the weight and 95% of the value of landings, include bass, cod, whelk, sole, lobster, plaice and crab.

In the context of the Blue Growth and the local development of the Chioggia and Delta Po area, Chioggia and Delta Po GAC FLAG intends to propose a European Cooperation Project focused on “Women in Fisheries”.

The FLAG is situated in the Burgas region and covers part of the Burgas Bay and its adjacent inland zones. The FLAG territory also includes the municipality of Kameno, which is a rural area. In total, there are 27 water basins on the FLAG territory. The fisheries industry is represented by six aquaculture farms and eight processing companies.

The Sotavento do Algarve FLAG is looking for cases, solutions and actions taken by local companies to breed a specific clam species: the Ruditapes decussatus.

The FLAG territory comprises the habitable area of the northernmost part of the Făgăraș Mountains, in the county of Brasov. The area is situated in the geographical centre of Romania and the Olt river runs through the FLAG’s territory, one of the country’s most important rivers.

The FLAG is situated along the Danube, between the regions of Hinova and Vrata. The region comprises a 74km2 stretch of the Danube river and includes many meadow, river banks and natural ponds.

FLAG Mangalia Litoral is in the south-east of Romania. The territory borders Bulgaria to the south and the Black Sea to the east and is characterised by coastal cliffs, coastlines and low floodplains.
