Two FLAGs and two LAGs from Finland and Estonia signed a cooperation agreement to promote youth exchanges around fisheries cultural heritage in order to revitalise the traditional links between Estonian coastal villages and Finnish coastal areas.
FLAG cooperates with local fisheries management body to encourage uptake by fishermen to trial lobster pots with specially designed escape gaps, providing both environmental and commercial benefits.

A local fisheries cooperative and research institute successfully pilot the farming of warty venus clams, or “sea truffles”, diversifying the area’s aquaculture production.
