Cooperation in action

Cooperating with local groups from other territories can allow FLAGs to find the complementarities or critical mass to increase the impacts of their actions. Below are a series of cooperation proposals and calls which might interest FLAGs. New guidance for prioritising transnational cooperation project ideas

The European Network for Rural Development (ENRD) has developed a new guide for organising and prioritising transnational cooperation ideas. The prioritisation of project ideas can be instrumental in maintaining the strategic role of transnational cooperation within a FLAG strategy.

A call for proposals has been issued by the European Commission on sustainable Blue Economy. Part of this call has been developed with the aim of developing linkages between Mediterranean FLAGs in the EU and fisheries/coastal communities from Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco and Mauritania.
