FLAG Actions Contributing to the European Green Deal
This study provides information on projects funded by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) through Fisheries Local Action Groups (FLAGs) which contribute to the objectives of European Green Deal. In particular, it provides information on FLAG projects which contribute to the preservation and restoration of ecosystems and biodiversity, fostering more sustainable food systems,, cleaner energy and moving towards a circular economy. The findings outline that approximately 2 600 FLAG projects support the objectives of the Green Deal and the EU’s 2030 Biodiversity Strategy.
