    The East Finland FLAG has supported the creation of a mobile app for Finnish inland fishers to register their catches. Developed by a University of Applied Sciences and introduced in May 2020, the tool will enhance catch-data collection and traceability along the fisheries value chain.

    Croatian FLAGs (currently 14) were selected for the first time in 2017 by the Ministry for Agriculture. Croatia’s objectives for the implementation of CLLD in fisheries include the sustainable economic development of coastal and island communities by adding value to fisheries-linked activities, and diversifying activities from other sectors.

    Cooperation is strongly encouraged in Greece and the proposal of at least one (inter-territorial or transnational) cooperation project was a compulsory element of the application process for candidate FLAGs to receive EMFF funding. Some of the themes emerging most strongly from the Greek local development strategies include cooperation around tourism, thematic trails (e.g. around gastronomy, archaeology…) and diving parks.

Un proiect de cooperare FLAG - GAL vizează îndeplinirea obiectivelor economice și de mediu la nivel local prin crearea unei noi destinații turistice bazată pe pescuitul de agrement.
