Information on the notifications submitted under Directive 2001/18/EC

The purpose of this Register is to provide information about the notifications submitted to the Member States under Directive 2001/18/EC. The notifications concern either experimental releases of GMOs (Part B notifications) or releases of GMOs for placing on the market (Part C notifications).

Part B notifications (experimental releases) – GM Plants Search the list of notifications regarding deliberate release of GM plants into the environment, for purposes other than placing on the market (experimental releases), as defined in Directive 2001/18/EC.

Part B notifications (experimental releases) – GMOs other than plants Search the list of notifications regarding deliberate release into the environment of GMOs other than plants, for purposes other than placing on the market (experimental releases), as defined in Directive 2001/18/EC.

Part C notifications (placing on the market) Search the list of notifications regarding placing on the market of GMOs , as defined in Directive 2001/18/EC . The list includes both GMOs authorised and GMOs pending authorisation.
