SECTION 3: Numbers and uses of animals for the creation and maintenance of genetically altered animals (GAA) in the EU

Section 3 shows the numbers and uses of animals for the creation and maintenance of genetically altered animals to meet the needs of EU research and testing. These animals have not been used directly in research and testing and therefore they are not included Sections 1 and 2.
