Volunteers Initiative Nepal (VIN), founded in 2005, is a non-profit and non-government organization working for the most marginalized communities of Nepal using holistic community development approach. Improving quality of living of disadvantaged people through community empowerment is VIN's ultimate goal. Volunteerism is the strategy to their development initiatives. VIN works in partnership with all likeminded local national and international organizations.

VIN’s mission is to empower marginalized communities, with a focus on women and children, through enhanced educational programs and community training to promote equality, economic well-being and basic human rights. VIN has four pillars of its development initiatives – Education, Health & Environment, Economy and basic infrastructure. VIN mobilizes local and international volunteers in the communities where it see the need of implementing its program.
